But did you know that your dream is not unrealistic anymore? Did you know these jobs actually exist and pay more than you thought? Did you know it is actually very easy and feasible for you to do it?
If you shook your head into a no, this article is for you. In this article, I am going to give a job description of eight jobs in the health fitness & sports industry that are proven to be the most satisfactory. Ready?


  1. Physical Education Teacher:
    Students commonly call them as a P.E teacher or a gym teacher. These teachers usually have done a certified course in physical education or athletic training. They give theoretical and practical knowledge about fitness, health and sports to the students. Their daily schedules are decided upon the school’s syllabus pattern, but usually they take one hour class daily. They start by teaching daily good habits, proper meals, and common exercises good for their body growth. Then, they move on to training kids for numerous sports they want to participate in, including basketball, football, cricket, gymnastics, tennis etc. They also teach kids some other values like discipline, being a team player, leadership skills in sports etc. Physical Education teachers make good money and have satisfactory schedules. If along with your passion for fitness, you love kids, this job is definitely for you.


  1. Nutritionist:
    A nutritionist’s job is to advise people in the matters of food and nutrition, and how it impacts their overall health. They also decide people’s daily meals, calorie intakes, dos and don’ts in matters of food etc. If people have specific chronic diseases, they prepare customized diet plans for them in that case. A diet plan of someone with obesity and someone with diabetes will have differences. Nutritionist can be of a few types: dietician-nutritionist, sports nutritionist, personal nutritionist etc. A smart nutritionist would be able to help their clients with whatever food problem they are facing. Usually, nutritionist have a certified course in diet programs, nutrition management etc. They can be self-employed or work in hospitals, clinics, spa-centres, gyms and sports clubs. This is one of the highest paying jobs in the fitness & health industry.




  1. Personal Trainer:
    Being a personal trainer is the new ‘trending’ job in health & fitness industry. A personal trainer can have a varying degree of knowledge of general fitness involved in exercise prescription and instruction. Their job is to listen to their clients’ problems about fitness, make a plan to overcome those problems and implement the plan with daily follow-up of exercises and suitable diets. Trainers measure their clients’ strengths and weaknesses, triggers etc. to help them achieve their fitness goals. Personal trainers can either work independently or work in gyms and health clubs. Their salary is usually decided upon the kind of training they are providing to a specific client.


  1. Physical Therapist:
    Physical therapists own a professional degree in physiotherapy and are highly educated and experienced in the field. They help their patients recover from an injury by developing a plan, and using treatment techniques to provide aid to patient’s body movements. In many injury cases, physical therapy works better than medical therapy. So, these physiotherapists help their patients do some general exercises that can make their body function normally again. They usually work in hospitals, medical centres, health agencies, sports facilities or sometimes independently too. They earn a lot due to the technical knowledge and experience, and the medical aid they provide.


  1. Gym Owner:
    Being a gym owner is probably the simplest jobs of these all, while still earning a lot. For being a gym owner, you can just have a certified course of general fitness and exercise. But more than that, you need to have knowledge about start-ups and businesses. To be smart about it, you need to have a clear idea of the framework of your gym. This means deciding the business structure, the kind of exercises you will promote, the area you will establish it in etc. Also, you must appoint trainers who have enough knowledge and experience in training & exercise. If the gym ends up becoming a successful one, you would be one of the few to live your dream and earn well.


  1. Fitness Magazine Writer/Editor:
    This job fits for the kind of people who are the ‘fitness guru’ of their friends circle. Are you that friend who is always giving advices about healthy food and effective exercises? If you are, then how about becoming a fitness magazine writer/editor? This will help in nurturing that creative side of yours while you do what you love best – advice! They focus on reporting amateur and professional sporting news and events. Their daily job is to witness sports events, observe them carefully and report it to their seniors. So, we can only guess as to their incomes, but among famous and high-priced celebrity trainers, we can, with reasonable accuracy, name the top ten.

Reading up on the curriculum vitae of the top personal trainers in the U.S. began to reveal a recurring theme. Almost without exception, the most sought-after and well-known personal trainers don’t just earn their salaries solely as personal trainers (even though they can demand $300.00 per hour or more). Their chief incomes are as authors of self-help books, spokespersons, and motivational speakers, as merchandisers of their own products related to health and fitness, and even as actors and models.

Probably the newest personal trainer on this list, has recently launched himself into fame by being the diet and fitness instructor for Mariah Carey, and is responsible for her amazing 70-pound weight loss after giving birth to twins. He also has the title of personal trainer to celebrities like Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, and Ryan Murphy, as well as the personal trainer for the cast of Glee.

In addition to physical training, he also created and owns a catering company and West Hollywood restaurant that specializes in health food, called “Fitrition Café,” launched in 2010.

Born in Argentina, Coppola moved to the U.S. to attend college and earn a degree at CSU in Long Beach. Should Personal Trainers Stretch Their Clients?

Before addressing the specific question, it’s important to acknowledge that many opinions about the benefits/dangers of stretching continue to fuel industry discussion. This blog piece is written from the viewpoint that stretching is good – and in the spirit of full disclosure, I teach facilitated stretching seminars for personal trainers to learn safe and effective stretches to use with their clients.

Even so, I value differing opinions that help further the discussion and contribute to the pursuit of the best interests of our clients.

Nick Tumminello, founder of Performance U International, is known for his innovative, hybrid fitness training concepts and for his ability to provide simple, honest, and immediately applicable solutions to common problems fitness professionals face .

When asked whether trainers should stretch their clients, he gave this response:

“Manually stretching clients is not a part of the Performance U approach to personal training because:

1) There’s a lack of good scientific evidence that assisted stretching offers clients benefits they can’t achieve from doing basic strength training and active mobility modalities (i.e., yoga, dynamic stretching, etc.) through full, controlled ROM.

2) We found clients start looking at trainers as some sort of pseudo-massage therapists who they keep asking to stretch them instead of actually working out.

3) In the sue-happy world we live in, we feel it’s safest for trainers not to put their hands on their clients to manipulate them in any way.”

Depending on the stretching technique, there can be some risk with manual stretching. Trainers need to stay within their scope of practice and shouldn’t be doing any technique that they haven’t studied and practiced, particularly if it poses some risk to the client.”

At this point in the discussion, let’s agree that flexibility is an important component of fitness. Given that agreement, the key points to address to help answer the title question fall into four categories:

Who Should Perform the Stretches?

The crux of the issue isn’t whether clients should be working on their flexibility; it’s how they should achieve that flexibility. Do we encourage flexibility work but leave it to the clients to implement it? Or do we take a more active role to include stretching during training sessions?

In contrast to Tumminello’s approach, I say trainer-assisted stretching as part of each training session is more effective in the long-term for helping clients improve their overall flexibility. It’s also true that little or no benefit will accrue if clients are stretching only on the days they work with their trainer. This leads into the next point, client dependence.

Client Dependence

Many trainers feel that stretching clients at the end of a workout is a poor use of time because clients should be stretching on their own, outside of the training time they paid for. As Tumminello points out, clients may prefer to work less and have the trainer spend more time stretching them. In my view (and Nutting’s), this dynamic should bring us back to reviewing the client’s goals and the results of the needs assessment.

To avoid dependence, trainers need to take the time to teach clients how to perform stretches correctly on their own, outside of training sessions. This provides an opportunity to enhance communication and rapport with the client, and allows the trainer to continually monitor clients’ stretching techniques to ensure they’re correct.

Work Within Scope of Practice

A review of scope of practice documents from a number of personal training certification organizations finds no specific mention of stretching. The general guidelines are that personal trainers evaluate their client’s fitness and design, implement, and supervise appropriate exercise programs for them. Stretching would certainly fall within these guidelines.

Germany holds Chile!!!!!!

Kazan, Russia: World cup defending champions Germany holds Chile in the Confederation Cup yesterday (23rd June). For Chile Alexis Sanchez scored the goal and he became the highest goal scorer for Chile. It was Sanchez’s thirty eight international goal for Chile. Lars Stindl made the second goal of the match for Germany. For Germany he scored the goal in the 41st minute. Alexis Sanchez scored for Chile in the sixth minute of the game.

The match was a big one because this was a match between the defending champs of Copa America that is Chile and Defending champs of World Cup that is Germany. Alexis Sanchez became the top goal scorer for Chile. He broke Marcelo Salas’s record of 37 goals for Chile. Alexis Sanchez, the Arsenal player and Chile’s forward made the record from more than hundred matches for his country.

Chile is top in the Pool B with one goal difference between Germany. Germany included four of its 2014 World Cup winning players for the match against Chile, While Chile included nine of the players who played match against Argentina in the Copa America finals.

Both the teams needs to wait for the next week’s matches between Cameroon and  Australia to find the semi finalists.

If you are a swimmer, you have to encounterd with cold weather and cold water also. What follows some guidelines for choosing cold weather swim gears plus some tips for training.

Cold weather drains body temperature in seconds, so go straight in to water from locker room and straight to a hot shower afterward.

Cold weather swimming require wearing a NEOPRENE swim cap and wetsuit. Wetsuit trap a thin layer of water in between you and neoprene, your body quickly warm up this water which keeps you warm. A fitted wetsuit should be tight enough and never have loose areas because this will negate the warm layer of water around your body by constantly letting in cold water. The main areas for bad fit are neck and hips so try to make a tailor custom made wetsuit.

Ear plugs also be used because of cold water draining in and out, ear canal causes dizziness and may be the one reason to lose body heat.

Webbed swim gloves must be there while swimming in cold water, it protects you from cold water as well as you get the benefit of resistant training while preserve hand dexterity.

The other gears which will help you are goggles, neoprene socks and neoprene hood.

Some training suggestions includes practice with your cold water gears inside first because it will help you get more comfortable with the gears.

Do a warm up, streches before going into water. Elevate your pulse by jumping for a minute or even take a jog.

Try to do Indoor training so you can manage the temperature of inside.
