This leading snooker player from India was born in the year 1985. He completed his education at the Mahaveer Jain College, Bangalore and received his training in snooker from former national snooker champion Arvind Savur.

He made his debut entry at the Asian Billiards Championship in the year 2002. He is the first player who won both the point’s format and the time format titles in the World Billiards Championship in the year 2005. He won his 8th world title in the Professional World Billiards Championship. He is also the recipient of many awards. He received the Arjuna Award in the year 2004 followed by Rajiv Gajiv Gadhi Khel Ratna in 2006 and Padma Shri in the year 2009. This true legend is an inspiration for the upcoming billiard players to make a mark at the world stage.
