India Lost to Malaysia in HWL.

London: India lost to Malaysia in the Hockey World League Quarter final on yesterday that is on 22nd June. Malaysia shocked India for 3-2. Thus Malaysia made their Semi Final. This victory helped Malaysia to enter the Hockey World Cup that is to be held in the next year. India got out of the Hockey World League.

Malaysia scored the three goals from Penalty corners. They got seven Penalty corners and made three goals from it. Malaysia stayed 2-2 in the game with India. With remaining  20 minutes hands, Malaysia made their winning goal. The goal was made by Razie Rahim.

Razie Rahim opened the account for Malaysia in the 19th minute of the game. Then next to him, Tengku Tajudain made the second goal for Malaysia in the 20th minute. For India Ramandeep Singh made the two goals for India in 24th and 26th minutes of the game. India leveled the score. Malaysia started with the lead, but India leveled it.

But Razie Rahim made winning goal for Malaysia. This is India’s second loss against Malaysia with in the two months. India lost to Malaysia in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup last month.

Malaysia will face Argentina in the Semi Final. This might be a tough one for Malaysia to face World no.1 team Argentina. India may face Pakistan for the second time in the League. Pakistan also lost to Argentina for 3-1.
