Bombayla Devi Laishram is on born 22 February 1985 in Imphal she is an Indian archer. She is  who has represented India at international events since 2007. whose nickname is Bom, is a sportsperson who represents India at archery.Bombayla Devi started archery in 1997 and made her international debut in 2007. And Her hobbies are: Music, Travelling & Coocking. She is righthanded. Her arrows are 28″ long. Devi’s mother M. Jamini Devi teaches archery while her father Manglem Singh was the state coach for Manipur’s handball. This is the third time she will be representing India at the Olympics, the first being in Beijing, the second in London and now at the Rio 2016 Olympics. In her previous appearances at the Olympics, Bombayla has made the pre-quarterfinals at the 2012 London Olympics, represented in 2008 Beijing Olympics but failed to reach the finals. She along with Deepika Kumari and Laxmirani Majhi make up India’s Rio-bound Women’s archery team.

Bombayla Devi had to go through six stages of trials before being selected for the 2016 Rio Olympics. She won gold at the recurve team event at the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in New Delhi. Bombayla earned a gold medal in Women’s recurve team event at Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games. Bombayla Devi Laishram’s previous Olympic experience will be valuable in both the individual and team events. The veteran Manipuri archer will play a key role in the Indian Women’s Archery team. Bombayla Devi Laishram, who will in all probability participate in her final Olympics, will look to leave a mark at the Games this year. The Manipuri archer would have learnt from her previous failings in the Olympics and would be keen to at least better her previous Olympic performance. With a world rank of 69, Bombayla Devi isn’t one of the medal hopefuls for India, but the three-time Olympian would want to impress. his is the third time she will be representing India at the Olympics, the first being in Beijing, the second in London and now at the Rio Olympics 2016. Bombayla had entered the Round of 32 after beating Austrian archer Laurence Baldauff 6-2. Bombayla is the most consistent Indian archer in the last decade. But somehow, she has never been the media’s darling. But the shy, soft-spoken Manipuri archer has had no complaints as she has continued to watch her so-called ‘star’ teammates hog the limelight.
